🤬 When will RWS (formerly SDL) Trados and Wordpress 's WPML finally get their sh*t together and make translation of WPML's #XLIFF dialect less of a PITA instead of keeping to point towards the respective other, like they've done for years?
Now, for reasons unknown, Trados' "Multilingual XML" file filter, which was supposed to improve things, escapes the entire CDATA'ed HTML upon export. 🤦♂️
I'm almost considering #OmegaT once again…

I've put together a slightly more functional configuration interface, and added the possibility of creating translation notes in the #XLIFF files via specially marked tags in #Ink (there's the possibility to indicate the prefix to use).
Now I'd really love to improve the CSV output, possibly making it into #ODS, but I'm having a really hard time to find a free library to handle them (and XML is scawwwry 😱)
Nemo_bis 🌈@gunchleoc Fair enough. Indeed #XLIFF is the only format #translatewiki.net was ever asked about by Microsoft people. I think it was at the time of #Blockly with @ellenspertus, the only person over there I ever talked i18n with.
