Drew NaylorPersonally I find Skell and Gear designs cooler than Gundams. I think it's because Gundams (at least the main Gundam) look too humanoid and not fantastical enough.
I think whoever is responisble for creating the Skell battles in cutscenes has a favorite Skell (Urban).

One big thing I just thought about suggesting that the Samaarians are no longer alive/part of the federation is that the Ma-non are supposed to be more technology advanced than the Samaar Federation.
That doesn't seem to be case if we look what things ancient Samaar had created (Ares) but would make sense if they no longer exist anymore.
