It's probably not everyone's cup of tea, but gets a 9/10 from me.

This is either the weirdest X-Files or the best Breaking Bad episode I've ever seen and honestly, _I don't know which_.
If you want to see how attention spans have changed, just watch an episode from the first season of X Files. People would never tolerate the pace of a show like that now. It just would not get made that way.
Long stretches without music, where you have to listen to people talk to understand the story, and it's neither quippy nor full of people shouting and swearing at each other? Are you kidding?
