Finally got around to listen to this and it was Very Good Indeed.
4/5: I got this audiobook almost 9 years ago as a freebie when I joined Audible but for some reason, I never got around to listening to it. Perhaps it was a time issue, perhaps I got sucked up into some other audio drama and forgot about it. This is pure early years Night Vale goodness. The show itself is in the upper 200 episodes, and the style has changed somewhat over the past decade, and that’s normal and completely okay. Listening to this reminded me of where it started and what I originally fell in love with: a near unhinged, deeply weird Night Vale shenanigans. Most of the book is guaran...
