My muse has no particular favourite time of day or place of work. She has recently woken me at 5am with suggestions for rewrites. She is not under my control. I wish she was.

I'm so excited about this book I'm writing that my heart is racing and my hands are shaking. Like, this is nuts. I have always loved writing, and I have always enjoyed doing it, but I have never felt THIS MUCH like I'm right there in the thick of it with my characters. It's the weirdest thing ever, but also the best. I don't know if anything will ever top this feeling.
