Upon the silent shore where sorrows lie,
I wandered lost beneath a clouded sky,
Despair, a shadow at my weary heel,
The world in grey, with wounds that would not heal.
Yet gentle dawn approached, her golden hand
Stitching the edges of a broken land;
She whispered hope upon the frosted air,
And taught my heart, though fractured, still to care.
For in the garden where old griefs are sown,
The seeds of strength and wisdom oft are grown;
The rain that falls, though bitter in its taste,
Prepares the soul for beauty not to waste.
So let the storm recede, the daylight rise—
The spirit mends, and learns to seek the skies.
