My brother and I took my mother to Worthing for a wonderful weekend away shortly before she passed away. I want to remember the love and beauty of that weekend

This photo concludes this project which has taken me 14 months to complete. I've felt raw and vulnerable at times but it's been so worthwhile.

Framing the loss of my mum in the gratitude and love we shared that weekend has helped so much in coming to terms with what happened. I feel so much different to other experiences of grief where anger (a normal human reaction to grief) consumed me.

It's time for an #introduction, having just moved over from another instance.

I'm a career changer, after three decades teaching physics and computer science in schools and colleges. I'm now an instructor in the aviation industry and enjoying the change of pace.
