#CMSPaper 1202: When protons pass very close, they can exchange #photons in stead of head-on collide. Those exchanges are rare but can be used to study photon-photon collisions at the #LHC. And this #paper uses these collisions to study the interaction of W bosons with photons.There are only about 150 candidates in 3 year of data taking. #CMSPaper 1201: The B_s ("bee-sub-ess") meson consists of a bottom and strange #quark. The B_s only decays into muons extremely infrequently as that would break the flavour-changing-current rules of the #standardmodel. So measuring it is important, it is directly sensitive to #quantum fluctuations due to undiscovered #particles !
