It has been a while since I posted arboreal architecture. The concept of live woodwork presents some interesting challenges, and questions. Is it possible to tunnel up and through the tree's heartwood without critically harming it? Can one similarly create an interior room? Is it possible to grow a feature like this, instead of carving it?

What is the true test of an apex predator, and do the #lashunta meet it, especially when they have to deal with tyrannosaur-size Nysshalora prowling the jungle's edges, as well as Kong-size Megaprimati ruling the giant trees?
Is it a more complex ecosystem, without clear rulers? Maybe the Lashunta exercise arguable control in patches surrounding their city-states, leaving the deep jungles to the earth-shakers.
