It's world EV Day today. I got my first EV just under 5 years ago now.

Overall a lot of ownership aspects have improved a lot over those 5 years in the UK.
Many more charge points about, easier to use and typically quicker for most.
Unfortunately some savings are disappearing such as VED, if you have to rapid charge that's more expensive etc.
But I didn't switch to EV because of those, I just found them better cars to drive!
Today is World Electric Vehicle Day!
Transport is Australia's 2nd worst emitter, and emissions are going up. State & Federal governments need to be doing more to help people switch to electric cars (as well as improving walking, cycling and public transport options)
