Tonight has been interesting considering that there are only two of us and we had to shut down half the plant to allow us to focus on running what OPs we can with only two operators.
My office has snacks in our kitchen for folks here. It's a mix of stuff. There's chips, individually packed cookies, and an area with some hand fruit.
One odd-ball item is Fun Dip packs. They're always there, rarely taken. But, whatever.
Yesterday, I went to go snag a bag of chips to go with my sandwich at lunch. I saw two packs of Fun Dip had been left with the Lik-a-Stix removed and only the sugar powder remaining.
The horror.
Who does that?!?

#WorkStory #2: We're multilingual.
Yesterday, for my entire #CustomerService life (20+ years), I received my first ever #Filipino language inquiry.
Since we're required to respond using the same language, it was a torture for me.
I know August is the Filipino #language month (#BuwanNgWika), but let's be honest, typing in Filipino is a PITA in certain situations, like providing #CustomerSupport that is related to #gaming and #techsupport.
Though, I had fun, I mixed it with some #Tagalog words and tried to avoid modern ones.
(For context, the Filipino language is more relaxed and have modern words. Tagalog is stricter and have old words we rarely hear today.)
It was a good experience. But one I do not want to experience again. It was too time consuming.
#WorkStory #1: The funny thing about our work, acronyms are very common and allowed.
I probably should start using them too.
WIP = Work-In-Progress
WAI = Working-As-Intended
NAB = Not A Bug
IAF = It's A Feature
KI = Known Issue
CI = Common Issue
For customers who ask obvious questions:
