The weekend in Bordeaux, France has been spent in the saddle of a rented trekking bicycle (nothing fancy, heavy but reliable and not inviting to be stolen).

On Saturday we took the train to the Atlantic coast and cycled to a beach, climbed the Europe’s highest dune of Pilat (truly a highlight) and had a great (Italian!) dinner in Arcachon.
