I once wrote a short story based on the idea of a black hole the size of a proton (with the mass of Mt. Everest) orbiting the center of Earth and punching holes through the planet that almost came to the surface. The location of their surfacing appeared as puddles and unwitting people would step in them and be spaghettified only to reappear at another random location and time on the earth's surface. Of course, they would be deemed undocumented immigrants.
