I found three of these guys today while moving wood. I'm like "Sigh... Let's get you somewhere safe..." and carry it over to where I was stripping bark off logs, and tuck it between bark pieces.
Being cute takes you a long way with me. I swerve to miss woolly bears on the road :^D

A bit envious of this woolly bear caterpillar’s coat given that the temperatures have dropped here in the Midwest. But then the woolly bears were always a harbinger of the Winter to come.
