First time playing #WirSindDasVolk! The first decade was a bit of a fail especially for me as the GDR player as I ended up almost completely dismantling my economy. 😅 I did manage to turn things around by decade 3 though, and uprisings due to low living standards in Bavaria led to West Germany's defeat.

I love how the historical events are adapted in this game. It all makes sense thematically and mechanically, and it's so much fun to play! Can't wait to get it to the table again.
