So the Mrs. had a spill at 4 pm yesterday---damned ice.

To ER by 5 pm, xray at 8:30 pm, and at 11 pm she saw the ortho.

Are you kidding?

Small local hospital, just the kind thaty will fail under the new cuts to medicaid/care. But it's the one people use. And not the staff's fault, as far aswe couldtell...just UNDER STAFFED.

Fractured upper humerus, and it wasn't funny. Seeing ortho (who did her hips and shoulder) Monday if we can get in. Thankful for good sturdy Irish bones.

Have I ever stated publicly here that I feel incredibly fortunate to have insurance?

The sun is blasting in my window and onto my computer screens, but I don't care, I will just let it tan the back of my neck here for a while.
