Winterized the outdoor irrigation today. Overnight temps dropped from upper 40's (F) to low 30's and there was ice on the windshield this AM.

All the standing hose bibbs are fed from a separate water line with a dual-check valve and shutoff. I tied the drip irrigation into that line so shut off is easy. Then I open all the hose bibbs and irrigation valves and the drain valves on all the manifolds. Finally, freeze covers on all the bibbs around the exterior of the house.
