I wanted to play WoW classic with a friend.
I had it running on my Arch box not that long ago.
But it no longer worked. Hung on login. It is a Common problem, not an easy fix to understand.

At one time it was necessary to use wine staging 10.6.

I used Proton plus to install wine staging tkg 10.6 and few others. These go right into the Lutris configuration.
The runner that finally worked was Proton GE latest.

This took some research on my part. But in the end it was easy, point and click.

I've forgotten how klunky windows actually is. Every solution is reboot. It's such an awful OS.
