Finished the #MartinHench audiobook trilogy by @pluralistic, with an excellent VA performance by #WilWheaton, today and I have to say that both author and narrator hit my expectations out of the park.

Excellent books delivered excellently. Take a bow, gents. 👍/🙏

Wenn man(n) die Lebensmitte schon eine Weile hinter sich hat, dann bekommen nicht nur Erinnerungen an Filme, sondern auch an die eigene Kindheit und Jugend jedes Jahr einen neuen Stellenwert. Nach dem plötzlichen Tod von Rob Reiner und seiner Frau – und der dahinter stehenden Familientragödie vor nur ein paar Tagen -, fällt es mir allerdings tatsächlich schwer, diesen Film nicht auch als ein frühes Vermächtnis seines Regisseurs zu sehen. Auch, weil ich damals, als ich ihn zuerst sehen durfte, das meiste meines eigenen Lebens noch vor mir hatte. (ZDFneo, Wh.)
