A pileated woodpecker perched on our flat feeder in northern lower Michigan. Look at the size of him!

This was taken through my picture window, so not the sharpest, but I got him.

The squirrel was running up and down the brick wall of the post office when he decided to jump to the sidewalk, but alas, his timing was terrible, as a large orange tabby was only mere feet away. So as quick as he descended, he ascended again and found respite on the window ledge, swearing in squirrel language for more than two minutes. Luckily after he settled, he took note of me with my camera and happily posed for several great shots.
