Scar tree?
The relief cut from this tree has all the hallmarks of a First Nations’ Scar tree. Aboriginal people removed bark from trees to make canoes, containers and shields and to build temporary shelters. Not sure if its of requisite age (>200y) still, it does make you wonder.
