Noticed a few interesting @WiGLEnet stats:
- just crossed the 5 Billion unique Bluetooth device count. I know that number is a bit sus, but yowza!
- closing fast on 8 million files parsed. That’s #allTheWifi but more keeps showing up

One #wigleWiFi phone managed to hold a GPS signal out of AMS! Just passed over the top of Ireland and saw 3 more cell towers detected! Not bad at 6 miles up.
Don’t forget the most important tip for #wardrive success!
Bring a @WiGLEnet #wigleWiFi or other device with you. Everywhere. All the time. Signal is out there just waiting to be noticed. And added to your stats.
A neighborhood walk nets new APs EVERY time! 6 new or 600 new, it all adds up!
Tips for #wardrive success
Multiple @wiglenet #wigleWifi devices but no SIM cards? Connect them to your active phone Hotspot while you drive. You’ll get map updates & backup GPS location while you drive!
Data consumption is minimal and the ability to use Follow Me on the map display is super valuable to full coverage!
Tips for #wardrive success
When your @wiglenet #wigleWifi devices won’t get a GPS sync, connect them to a WiFi network or your phone hotspot!
Boom, GPS location from the Network, even with zero satellites. A big help at airports and tall city locations. Make those points count!
Just passed 3,000,000 observed APs on @wiglenet
I’ve got 1,582,214 APs with GPS recorded.
I’ve always wondered where the delta is - odd I have so many observations with no GPS coordinates!
Is there some ‘lost sock’ dimension these APs slip into in the big #wigleWiFi dryer?
Busy #wardrive day here in the @WiGLEnet big board 80’s!
Had around 3 hours of concentrated gridding time and notched 31,417 new APs of 201,000 observed!
3 #atomgps units uploaded last managed almost 1,000 not seen by my #wispy and #wigleWiFi phones.
I think jjza and I swapped places at least twice already 😎

Ran another #wardrive showdown with all the rigs, probably my last for 2023.
Uploading in reverse order this time to @WiGLEnet showed how simple phones with WigleWiFi rock the world.
Order: DNSDriveBy, AtomGPS, WiSpy, S7, S9, Pixel 6
The Pixel still found 125 APs none of the others had.
And it saw the most of any device, by more than 700.
