#WierdCarMastodon friends talking about vans got me to thinking about VW: what's going on with the electric ID.Buzz? It is really out of production? Stevens Creek VW, AFAIK, the largest VW dealer in California, has 15, with $10,500 discounts. Local dealer Coachella VW has 13. I think they're cool, and we now see them relatively often out here in the SoCal desert.

Fins harness wind to help solar cars race through the Aussie Outback.

The Dutch team Brunel Solar eventually won the race, arriving in Adelaide 34 hours after leaving Darwin. Their car, the Nuna 13, had not one but two fins, which it used to achieve higher speeds without extra energy consumption.
