#caddisfly larvae everywhere. They are interesting insects. They live for a year or more in the water. There they are astonishing architects for their cases.
If you look close, you can see a lot of Hydras on the pondweed. They are indeed special creatures. They are not ageing and don't die of age! They regenerate all the time. Very small but also very exceptional 🤩!

Today totally fascinated watching copepods in the open #water with a magnifying lens. I almost swam into a huge #pike by mistake. He (or should I say “she”) watched me pretty pissed off 🫣. Ooops, sorry your Majesty Esox Lucius!

What I like about diving are these unexpected moments.
Our local lake. Been there hundreds of times. You think to yourself, nothing special.
And then you experience this special light mood, this abundance of color. The shore is flooded. Just below the surface, you get unexpected insights into the beauty of nature. The good things are often so close.
