RedditのSubreddit、soldering で安価な中国製のWick（はんだ吸取線）について書かれているのを読んでいた。
頭ごなしに否定する人もいた。肯定する人もいた。

私はその安価な中国製のWickを真空管ラジオを分解する際に使っている。理由は、安価であり、工夫すれば使えるからだ。工夫とはフラックスをWickに塗って使うこと。

ビンテージ品の真空管ラジオは真空管ソケット周りに大量のはんだが盛られている。それを取り除くのに多くのWickを必要とするのでコストメリットの視点で中国製を使っている。ただし、プリント基板上の部品を取り除くのには日本製(Hakko)を使っている。

つまり、前提条件を 1）大雑把な作業（精密作業ではない）。 2）はんだを除去できれば可とする。とすれば、安価な中国製Wickでも十分に目的を果たす。
これが私の意見。
