I first heard this song courtesy of my late older brother more than 50 years ago and over the course of time, jammed to it in my home wherever that was, played it on the radio when I was a professional radio DJ including on the pirate radio station my Army Guard unit had in Iraq in 2004 but I gotta tell ya, Pete Townshend’s lyrics have never seemed more relevant to me than now at this point in the history of the U.S.
