One reason my morning sweep through the news is short is made clear by the fact that architects of the feeds want me to know who all of the 5 people on a missing submarine are, but not the names of the 15 people killed in a bus crash in Manitoba. Why are 5 people on a trip to leer at the rusting remains of an old ship important, while the others aren’t?

Why is it my job to worry about some people and not others?

Our priorities are wrong.
