Great to see that our member Anne Young, who was inspired last year by #AllAboutThatPlace to start a #OnePlaceStudy of #Whitmore in #Staffordshire, will be making her OPS place the subject of her #AtoZChallenge blog posts this April!

Zulu's case is mentioned in this January 2023 article:
Louisiana Has A Brady Crisis. Can The Supreme Court Fix It?
https://www.law360.com/articles/1561189
"Louisiana's dysfunctional justice system has been a problem for decades and is rooted in racism, said Allen-Bell, author of an upcoming book, "The Summons," about race and justice in the state. Prosecutors lie in open court about evidence they have, she said, citing the case of Kenny "Zulu" Whitmore as an example."
Louisiana has long given the U.S. Supreme Court reason to reinforce prosecutors’ obligation to disclose evidence favorable to defendants, a requirement that attorneys nationally say merits another forceful reminder after an inmate did not receive a key jailhouse confession until he was already on death row.
@starkeffect @TeaPain Also, there are serious questions about FBI foreknowledge that require investigation.
It seems certain from testimony that the #FBI had confidential informants in the crowd. The saga of Ray Eps is highly suspect, especially since he urged people inside.
In hindsight, we see that the #Gretchen #Whitmore plot was practically organized and led by FBI personnel entrapping unsavory simpletons. The January 6th circus had better not have had similar FBI involvement.
