White-faced Heron by the lake yesterday afternoon.
The fountain in the lake was going, but the algae and duckweed does an amazing job of smoothing out the ripples, so at the edge, the water was like a mirror.

A White-faced Heron perched on some rocks next to the water in the UQ Lakes wetlands section.
The water's surface is covered in Azola*, which is flowering with a pinkish hue.
