#JohnMayall, once he "got rich" (relative term) thought it would be cool to build himself a fireplace in his new mansion, and build it so it looked like a natural tumble of random rocks that just happened to form a hearth.
He said he learned a GREAT DEAL MORE about masonry than he had ever intended. I find life in software to be a bit like that too. RIP John. One of the rarities.
