Randahl FinkIf you are into dark and gritty thriller series, definitely put Detective Hole on your watch list. It is based on the crime novels by Norwegian novelist Jo Nesbø, and it really shows: It is complex, has interesting characters, and a plethora of surprising twists.
If CSI Miami is shallow like a puddle of water, Detective Hole is The Mariana Trench.
It has some extreme and gut wrenching scenes that I found very unpleasant, but other than that, it is very enjoyable.
