Herring running upriver in Weymouth MA. They come in from the Atlantic, to the Bay and then up the Back River to Whitmans Pond to spawn. This is at the base on one of the ladders. #Herring#Spawn#Weymouth#Fish#Conservation
The #SeaLifeTower in #Weymouth did not actually lean, it's just my camera angle, leaning out of a guest room window at Aaran Guesthouse. It was perfectly vertical and afforded spectacular panoramic views across the town, the seafront, beach, outer harbour and hills across #WeymouthBay
Most days in summer, the #Weymouth#HarbourFerry operates, taking passengers from near our back door across to the #NotheGardens and #NotheFort - which is the main ticketed #OlympicSailing viewing area. Several diesel ferries operate daily to and from #Portland, also arriving 10 to 50 yards from Aaran House back door. The #CondorFerry (when operating) departs from 100 yards away. (Filmed 2012)
