Textured #wetfelted vessel and lid. While making this one, I was thinking of galaxies, yet as the felting process continued, sea anemones came to mind. The handle on the lid was first wet felted, and then I blanket stitched metallic thread around it. I like the resulting feel and look!
Good day from this humble #needlefelted snail on a bright green #wetfelted leaf…moving along, slow and steady. Eventually, this pair will become a lid for a wet felted vessel.

Ontario trilliums! This piece started as a sample for my spring wildflowers #needlefelting class. After the class, I took it out of the hoop it was in, did lots more needle felting, and then #wetfelted it. Now it’s mounted on a black felt covered canvas - and truly finished.
I made this one for our soon to be new home ♥️ The circles are #needlefelted then #wetfelted, and the bits on top are a combination of the two. They’re mounted on black felt in a 17x20” frame.
