Caught the hatching of a Western Screech Owl. 6min video, be patient, watch the first couple of minutes at least. Amazing luck as momma is only out of the box for 10min every 12hrs.

Looks pretty positive for another season of owls in the box. I believe it was the poppa shewed out by momma. She did this quite a bit last year.

FYI: last year we saw the pair lay 3 eggs and successfully rear 2 owlets.
