I just saw a UFO / UAP. 😮

Tonight is trash night, and I forgot to take out the trash. So, at around 1:30 AM, I tried to be as quiet as possible as I wheeled out both my recycling bin and trash bins (cutting across the yard instead of wheeling them across the driveway).

It was all bright white, lit up, very large, and wide, and from a distance it almost looked flat as a pancake at first. But then I noticed it had some height — though not much — and that made it look more cigar-shaped. It moved from right to left, then ducked behind the treeline.

My first two thoughts were: 1) it's moving away from me, followed by 2) I wish I had my phone, because no one is going to believe this. 😅

All things considered, I felt calm and didn’t get excited. Kind of one of those moments when you shrug and just carry on with your business. For the first 2–3 seconds, I was thinking, “Oh, cool, a UFO,” and after that, I felt no different than if I had spotted a hot air balloon. I always imagined I would be more surprised, but in truth, I felt more accepting of the fact. 🤷
