Just tried #HamOnt bird e-scooter rental. Was fun and safe. Acceleration from the stop is a bit disappointing and the top speed of 20 is low, but it's a comfy and easy ride even on potholes and the like. It was a bit aggressive about sidewalk detection -- mistook me being near the sidewalk for being on it.

The biggest failure is price. I just rode from the #Westdale Village to Victoria Park and it cost $7 plus tax. I knew it would be more than a bus or a Sobi but that's too much more.
