I'm voting with my wallet. Weir happily used the phrase "blonde as a Hitler wet dream" in his second book, and I thought, "this is an author who doesn't need my money." I'm sorry to see so few people holding him to any sort of standard.

I read this article today, and it reminded me of just who hates new Trek - fascists! They don't like strong women, minorities, trans folk, and these are all topics discussed by the new generation of Star Trek. I haven't read about Weir's politics, but this piece gave me some feelings. Vote with your wallets, folks.
