i saw tarkowski’s SOLARIS in my teenage years. as i remember it, it starts with a long shot of underwater plants moving gracefully. this scene impressed me - especially today it is brave to find your own way of telling a story even though it takes time and patience for the observer.
the piano sample is an old record i have saved with the title WAITING. both came to my mind when i was brainstorming for a group show about the topic of waiting.
