Yes! It is possible! ๐
What I have here is a fan - made remake of 8 bit Sonic The Hedgehog for the C64.
I have to emulate it, as it requires a RAM expansion unit. Which I don't have.
It's surprisingly good, considering what it runs on. ๐

Outrun Europa.
A bit of a departure from other Outrun games in the series. ๐
In this game, you take on the role of Simeon Kurtz, a secret agent tasked with delivering documents to Berlin.
Unfortunately, enemy agents have stolen the documents... and your Ferrari F40...1/2
The #WeekOfC64 continues!
This is Square Scape 2.
There were quite a few "cosy" puzzle games for the C64. Here, you had to guide your square around a board, hitting all the targets, before getting to the goal, in a limited number of moves.
But it's not quite as simple as that. ๐
Once you start your square moving, it won't stop until it hits a wall.
There is also a time limit to each stage.
So... it's trickier than you think. ๐ ๐ ๐
RoboCop.
Back in the day, Movie tie-in games were quite a big thing. To a degree, I guess they still are.
In RoboCop, you play as Robo / Alex Murphy in what is essentially a "run 'n gun" game, where you have to traverse scenes, taking down the bad guys.
Frank Bruno's Boxing.
Essentially a remake of Super Punch Out, this boxing game sees Frank take on a series of increasingly difficult boxers, from Canadian Crusher to Peter Perfect, to see if he can knock them out 3 times in three minutes.
Back in the day, The Oliver Twins created a small community of cartoon eggs, called The Yolkfolk.
The protagonist of these was called Dizzy, & CodeMasters published a series of games featuring him.
Treasure Island was the 2nd game in the series, but it was my 1st Dizzy game.

Something a bit different this week.
We'll kick off with Turbo Outrun.
SEGA's sequel to the original classic arcade racer was ported to the C64 by Probe Software & published by US Gold.
Interestingly, this is considered one of the best ports of the title to a home computer.
Street Fighter 2 chiptune with LED-disco, played on an Ultimate 64 (a C64 FPGA reimplementation) in a transparent case

I finish off my week of C64 with The Real Ghostbusters.
A game from a cartoon of my childhood and, as I learned many years later, actually a conversion of an arcade game.
Tusari.
The penultimate game in my week of C64 is this Barbarian-like game from Element 114.
Tsuari must fight her way past goblins and monsters across 3 levels to ultimately win her freedom.
