Something was off this week. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it did for my enthusiasm fairly comprehensively.

Wednesday fixed it briefly: a charity golf tournament with ex-colleagues, old friends, and a couple of rusty golf shots.

First time out of the house for something social in a while, and a reminder of how much I miss it.

I once again have a functioning 8-track player, so now I can play my grandfather’s old Sons of the Pioneers1 cartridges as well as knock off Monkees and Beatles groups doing covers. Yay! It involved opening up my Lear Jet H-300, poking around a bit, and finally determining it was just a belt that needed replacing. I hadn’t played anything on it since 15 years ago, so it’s not a surprise it needed replacing.
