This is amazing: @billgates makes an incredibly generous gift to all of us (humanity) and demonstrates what success should really look like. Let's hope the other tech multi-billionaires see this and realize they should at least increase their giving. https://www.gatesnotes.com/home/home-page-topic/reader/n20-years-to-give-away-virtually-all-my-wealth

When Paris Accord was signed China's grid was 72% powered by fossil fuels and the USA and Europe were at 65% and 49% respectively. Last year they were down to 63, 56, & 39%.

We are making progress, just not fast enough so time to speed up your personal decarbonization efforts as well in your towns. #WeCanDoThis

Please keep in top of your minds that just because our American electorate put their heads in the sand regarding global warming we can still make progress locally regardless of what happens out of Washington. We can do this so let's do this! #WeCanDoThis

Too many people think that they help our climate by constantly pointing out the impacts of global warming whereas the actual way to get more people to take and support climate action is to show them examples of people doing the right thing like they are in California.

New York is what, our third most populated state? Anyways, it has a huge population so I'm glad to see that the amount of fossil fuels they're using in their buildings is going down.
