@petitcoeur that would be a far more protective approach than for example what #systemd guys are heading to...
Of course that would need a patch to #firefox, #chrome, #webkit to be able to spot protected areas and age constraints... but that would definitely be a better way for our children and our privacy.

All my #WebKit merge requests have been merged. Now #WebKitGTK supports touch PointerEvent API, touch point coordinates are fractional, synthesized mouse events are unbroken and both WebKitGTK and WPE WebKit handle pointer capture and release according to the spec. This should considerably improve compatibility of #Epiphany (#GNOME Web) with touch interfaces.

There are still some more things to fix in there, maybe someone in #mobilelinux #linuxmobile community would like to give it a try?

@leaverou Thanks for clarifying! 😅 Because, I like the idea of "getting everything so right", but I am glad that that doesn't (in this case) superceed getting CSS import attributes into #webkit 🤞

I also like text, especially with so much text prompting going around, and agree it'll be a good next stop towards normalizing the super powers that import attributes provide at large!

It feels very satisfying to solve an issue that was reported more than seven years ago, in a test case that has been skipped for almost as long: https://github.com/WebKit/WebKit/pull/61000

Fixed in @WebKitGTK as a side quest while trying to improve the page favicons API with the ultimate goal of enabling it for @WPEWebKit as well.

Because #Apple has illegally integrated Safari into #iOS, this affects every iOS device even if you do not use Safari.

The 1ST USE of the (new) Background Security Improvement 'feature'. It will likely become a standard always-on security hole / #backdoor.

Just discovered a set of polyfills for WebKit on iOS that bring new web features to unsupported devices. This is particularly useful as WebKit versions are tied to OS versions. You can install the polyfills on gaolbroken devices.
