Our long range forecasts used to be fairly accurate because the 100+ years of data that was gathered was based on 'reasonably consistent' patterns. Maybe an El Nino or Nina bumped things around a bit, but we still knew what was generally expected.
Then, you guessed it, global warming inters the fray. Now we are using the same 100 year old models but they don't work because we have new, untested, unsaved weather anomalies and patterns that can't hold a forecast for 24 hours. #weather #ElNiño #weatherforecast #GlobalWarming
