It's nicely reflected in the pressure sensors built into my Aqara temperature sensors, showing easily the lowest pressure since I got them all together in April.

As a proud #WeatherNerd…
This event is no longer holding my interest.
Of course when I look away it will all break lose, but it seems like instead of building as they hit ohio, they weaken.
Back to work for me.
The fun stuff on the SPC site is here

Radar, Satellite, and other metrics in one place. Even if you know nothing about weather it is informative to click around.
The weird storm was the cell that got stronger as it went from Kentucky to about where the Greenbrier is in VA.
Upslope effect.
The sun warmed up ohio, and that storm near Seymour Indiana (Small town, John Cougar) is pretty serious.
So far this event for ohio has not materialized.
The day isn't over but if the sun was shining I would be more concerned.
That said, we cancelled a trip that involved a 2 hour drive.
If a tree falls on our house, we want to be here for it.
Will it get warm enough after the first line of storms to fuel an outbreak for the second line?
My guess is the outlook will be less severe than the current when they update in 2 hours.
Not a genius here, that is probably what happens most often.
Still could be pretty severe today.
I am a bit of a severe weather nerd, and tomorrow looks interesting for ohio.
I will use the tag #WeatherNerd so you can block if you want.
Often these events that look obviously serious, sort of burn out, because they turn over the atmosphere early and south of us.
That said, sometimes they happen.
You are in ohio, feel free to keep in touch.
Remember severe weather is often really local so don't panic when they say tornado in Piqua, unless you are in Piqua.
