2025/1022/0659 🌧 Walwa to albury in the rain

The final part of the #cycling adventure, back to Albury then a train home. The rain started shortly after I caught the ferry back across the Murray and made for a cold, wet, miserable final 40km to the eight days away

2025/1021/0715 ⛅ Tumut to Walwa

The second last day of my #cycling adventure, south from Tumut back into Victoria, even got to use a bit of the Tumbarumba-Rosewood #railtrail along the way

2025/1020/0759 ⛅ left and down

Bowning to Jugiong, #cycling homewards and avoiding as much of the Hume Highway as I could, then off down gravel roads alongside the Murrumbidgee and Tumut rivers to Tumut

2025/1019/0726 ⛅ homewards, plan b

The return half of the #cycling adventure commences, plan B is to tackle Canberra to Tumut in two parts, staying with family overnight at Bowning ... and bypassing as much of the Hume and Barton highways as is possible

2025/1018/0938 ⛅ goto schools

Having got to Canberra, I went #cycling around to retrace my old routes to school; primary school, Yr7-10 High School and Yr11/12 college - a ride I've been wanting to do for a few years, see what my commute really was

2025/1016/0724 ⛅ secret mission day two

Continuing the #cycling adventure, the longest day of the trip, but not the hardest. Hilights included getting lost in a maze of forestry tracks that didn't exist and yet that Google maps said were "roads"

#wearegoingawol at the arty end of a #carnegie #laneway.

Two words for the same thing; #laneway and #alley, two different mental images, a quiet secluded lane, a smelly back alley
