Taxes are not a penalty on the wealthy. They are a responsibility of wealth.
Wealthy people's tax cuts = Poor people's healthcare cuts.
American working people are not being hurt financially by #UndocumentedImmigrants. We're being hurt by #WealthyElites who refuse us the pay our labor deserves, who work to prevent guaranteed healthcare for all people, who deny us necessities in order to line their pockets.
This New Year, I resolve to be more vocal about what should unite all #WorkingPeople and how the #WealthyElites try to divide us to maintain their power. Focusing our attention on Black people who are poor, undocumented Latino immigrants, and trans people is a smokescreen so that they can continue to deny us medical care, use our labor, and live lives of luxury. Solidarity!
