@magdelenehall While I’m more familiar with #USInequality and, more generally, #GlobalInequality, I do know the UK has staggering #wealthAndIncomeInequality . I did a quick search and notice that #inequality has gotten a bit worse in the #UK in since 1980. These metrics should be the measure of whether policies were collectively “Liberal” or not (this is proof they were NOT). If we were to reduce w&i inequality in a transparent and democratic manner then we would be #liberal . #UnitedKingdom

@3x10to8mps #JoeManchin is also one the the “democratic” senators that voted against raising the #USminimumWage . #wealthAndIncomeInequality in the US has now surpassed a 100 year high. I don’t trust people who pretend to care about our standard of living but don’t support basic things such as raising the #minWage . If the #minimumWage had kept up with productivity increases and inflation since 1968 it would be nearly $25/hr . #inequality #standardOfLiving #poverty
