Another day, another clown in the attic tugging on wires.
Another day, another clown in the attic tugging on wires.
Pulling an all nighter and resetting my sleep schedule (again) for reasons.
I am excited to say that after gym and dinner last night, I installed a new ceiling fan and light in our library!
Best part?
Lever locking wire connectors.
Made the actual electrical part of the set up *super* fast.
Mission accomplished!
@SocialGaff once again gets credit for wrangling #Wattsworth, the electric tentacle monster who lives in the walls of #ThisOldClownHouse.
The upgrade is significant, and the lighting is so much better.
#thisOldClownHouse update:
All of the bedrooms have been successfully rewired!
#wattsworth still needs more love and repair, plenty of it. But that's a marker of a lot of work done, and a lot of learning done.
I'm doing things faster and better now. Took a look at some of the first sets of things I put in and they make me sigh. Which I think is a *great* sign. They're all safe and functional, I can just see how much cleaner they could have been done now, which is proof that I'm better at seeing what I'm looking at!
Updates about #ThisOldClownHouse , having discovered more terrible things past renovators did to poor #wattsworth.
Will be fixed, but damn.

And may all your clown houses be...
A moment ago, @SocialGaff said, "Found another one!"
Someone did #Wattsworth dirty.
We'll get them sorted, but it's definitely WTF o'clock here at #ThisOldClownHouse.
Spent the day in the attic of #ThisOldClownHouse helping #wattsworth :)
One more room has grounded light fixtures, and a bathroom is in the dark.
The goal is to get the bathroom back to having lights again before I gym on Monday.
I'm hopeful, but also, I am tired and my hands hurt!
