The image depicts a calm body of water, possibly a lake or sea, under a cloudy sky. In the distance to the right, there is a cluster of tall reeds or grasses growing at the water’s edge. The overall mood is serene, with muted colors reflecting the overcast weather.

I was taking a lunchbreak next to the Coquitlam river to destress and was fortunate enough to both see the wonderful fractal patterns of the river, but also, if you look close enough, a school of baby salmonids. In 1-2 years these will depart for the Pacific, and in 3-4 years, they will come back in the Salmon Run each fall, to spawn the next generation. #salmon #pnw #britishcolumbia #river #waterphotography
This image shows a red buoy floating on the surface of water. The water is a grayish tone, and the buoy is positioned towards the right side of the image.
