People with waterbeds. Why? 🤔
People with waterbeds. Why? 🤔
Today I had a conversation that brought to mind a piece of furniture I hadn't thought about in a while: #waterbeds. They still make them, and gosh, they were wonderful to sleep on. We have perfectly good beds in the house, so no need for me to purchase one, but I miss that trend of the Seventies and Eighties. Despite their drawbacks, they were amazingly comfortable!

Good morning, friends. 💮💮💮

Do you remember waterbeds? I think they went the way of the lava lamps. Or can you still buy those? I slept on one once and didn't get a big WOW. I often wondered if they ever leaked and what the consequences of a leaky waterbed would be. I mean a giant bag of water inside a house has to be a risk, doesn't it? I just read that in the 70s and 80s one in five households had a waterbed.
"Waterbeds were once popular but fell out of favor due to their drawbacks, such as maintenance, leak risks, and the need for special accessories2. However, it’s always fun to share a good waterbed pun!
How do you make a waterbed bouncy? You fill it with spring water!" - Copilot
I find AI to be a good source for corny jokes.

Something I haven't thought about in years - waterbeds. Do they even exist anymore?
